Our Mission
Sheila Ruotolo has been with the Marion County School board since 2003. She is the founder and director of the Madison Street Academy of Visual and Performing Arts Dance department. Sheila is a true advocate of a multi-disciplinary educational approach. Her students study a diverse spectrum including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Modern.
Sheila Ruotolo Dance Company is a community outreach performance group. Our goal is to promote dance awareness throughout Marion County.
Variety of Classes
We believe that dance instruction should be enjoyable, built on a solid technical foundation, inspire creativity, and match each individual's goals. We strive to enrich the lives of our students by teaching the discipline, creative thinking, flexibility, and team work that is required to dance. Students will not only learn to love and respect the art form, but will also learn life skills they can take with them into adulthood.
